SMS 2.0 & SNMP Setting

Can someone help me to solve a problem? I set up SMS on Windows 2000 Server. There are several Windows 2000 Prf clients. I was not able to set up SNMP agent on clients to send event's messages to Network Management System, for instance HP OV NNM. I tried to run SNMPUTIL (from NT 4.0 Resource Kit) to trap message before I had run Trap Translator of Events. Unfortunately, SNMPUTIL did not trap anything messages. How should I set up SNMP service so that NMS recieve event's message?.
