I'm new to the mail settup ... I have exchange 2003 configured on win2003 enterprise server .. all working fine .. however i have email client setup to authenticate when send email i also have the smtp account configure to require psw .. when trying to send email the field comes up asking for user name and psw but i could just type anything in and it accept and send the email still .. if I don't type anything it won't send .. i just need to know how to configure to so you cannot send without user name and psw
