SMPT 501 - Error in syntax or parameters (6.5)

I cannot send mail from my Domino server to the internet! :-(

Its a new installation, with little customization yet, and incoming mail works beautifully, but when I send mail from my Notes client to my Yahoo! address I get:

Error transferring message XXXXXXX via smtp to xxxxxx.yahoo.com 501 Error in syntax or parameters

What do I need to do to make outgoing mail to work? Incidentally, I can send mail through the internet to my work email address, which is also provided by a Domino server, so I guess its Yahoo that can't understand it, but how do I change these "syntax or parameters" to meet the needs of web-based mail?

I fixed it!

Just for the information of others, my problem was that I hadn't entered an "Internet Address" in the directory. Apparently without one of these, Yahoo (and probably other services) will not accept incoming email. I assume this is an anti-spam control, to prevent forged addresses.
