SMP Advise

I am planning on installing the SMP program to enable my second processor. I will be "operating" on a live system. Are there any caveats or pitfalls I need to be aware of? Should this be a painless experience?

This is a 3 steps job:
1) Rollback ALL patches and supplements applied
2) Install SMP, brand it
3) Apply all patches and supplements
As usual the step #0 is: be sure to have a RELIABLE backup.

thsot, branding is giving the license number,code and data.
This is normally done during installation, but for some products this can be deferred. For more info:

Which, should I remove? The Release Supplement or the Software Management Supplement?
