I was just wondering if anyone knows how to get rid of the hitch in key-controlled animation ... for example, if I want a space ship to move from left to right, there is a hitch as the OS makes the key-stroke repeat kick in. Is there a way to create a smooth movement without relying on the key-stroke repeat?

Cheers!

I guess the answer you're looking for is not to put the keyboard movement actions in a repeating loop, but rather as an action within an invisible button.
