SMIV1 Status Consistency in SNMP Tables

Hello,

I would like to know which RFC describes the consistency that has to be done in an SNMP V1 table on the Status Field:

For example, is it possible to have an Optional Fied in a Table that is Mandatory ?

Some compilers seem to accept that. Others find an error.
