Hi,
I have a couple of questions, firstly does anyone have userguides fort he smile software as I cant find any anywhere?
Secondly, when someone rings switchboard and asks to be put through to an extension, the switchboard can put straight through but if there is no answer, it bounces back as CFNA, whic is how i setup the system, but the recpetionist then puts a tannoy call for the requested person and they ring from an extension, the person requested has to hang up and then the recpetionist has to dial the number is there anyway of connecting the two calls without hanging up?

Smile Documentation is available for download from the ASCOM website.

You need to configure Call Park, that way you can "Park" a call at an extension, Tannoy the required party and inform them to dial the "Park" DN to retrieve the call.

Smile, the only time you do is when you RIP it out!

Just had an email back also saying that i have to be a distributor, or installer to be given access to the site, which I am neither, please can anyone help?

Email me and I'll send you the Configuration Docs, but they are pretty big!

we can not share email information here.. period.. good way to get a read only access.. if there is a nortel partner in your area... they can get the doc for zero dollars.. if the agents use the park/page feature.. then they can page ... mr x you have a call at 8040.. he dials 8040 and gets the call, not the att.. one step..
