I am working on a MXe on 8.0 UR5. This system is connected to another avaya pbx...The operators on this remote system keep receiving a call with no one on the line from the mitel system. We are assuming it comes from the mitel system because the operators see "a=Mitel PRI to Unknown Name ic" display on thier LCD.

When I check the smdr record to find out who dialed these people I find records like this showing the call is from x999

06/02 12:33P 00:00:03 X999 60513 A T010

X999 is an incoming call via an IP trunk. (Or possibly SIP)

The digits received are 60513

Trunk 10 is selected and the digits passed on.

To better determine where X999 is coming from, turn on the CCS Trace.

Go to Mitel Edocs, software development, data interface specifications and download developer guide for a comprehensive explanation on what all the characters signify.

x999 is always IP trunk connection
