Following on from my install, I am now trying to set up the SMDR from system B through System A to my billing platform. I followed the Centralized billing CCIS feature programming but I do not get the call data from site B. A is fine. This is with two NEC NEAX 2000IVS2s connected together via CCIS (using CCTA cards). Any ideas on this? Thanks, Simon

Do you have AP00-B card in the IVS2 that the Call Accounting computer is connected to?

Sorry, yes system A is the center office and has an AP00 card to which the billing platform is conected to. The AP card is in Pim 01.

Was site B ever sending out any call records prior to CCIS? You need to do MP SMDR programming on site B.

Yes I had site B set up to send call records and tested this. Then amended the programming to send the smdr across the link as per the smdr CCIA feature programming manual but no joy so far.

In the CCIS manual on page 192 in the example programing no 2 it mentions the following: "Data Assignment of
Office A ARTD CDN 10>CCIS Route No.: 0.
Does anyone know what the ARTD CDN stands for and how do I program this? Thanks, Simon

ARTD is a 2400 command. What manual do you have?????

I just read through an old IVS2 CCIS manual and it does show 2400 info in it.

I was able to dig up some notes from CCIS class

08>800>0 SMDR CCIS to Center Office (this may not be usable on IVS2)

CM 4000> 0 & 1 MUST NOT BE SET AS 11 or 14

This should be NONE

Also check CM 1306>ext. This data should be a 1

check 08>378:0

A703>CCH No. >0 Distant end is Center Offfice

A704>CCH No. > Point Code of Center Office

I have verified all these settings and they are as you said. One thing though, the SMDR output on System B through the AP card is only 300bps. Would that cause a problem?

08>800>0
4000>0 & 1 are NONE
1306>ext.>1
08>378:0
A703>1>0
A704>1>0001

No just on Side A the center office.

"One thing though, the SMDR output on System B through the AP card is only 300bps"

My mistake should have said:

One thing though, the SMDR output on System A through the AP card is only 300bps

I don't beleive 300 bps is a valid setting for the AP00

I will change this and see if it will work with 1200. Right now I do receive the SMDR from System A though with 300 bps. Will let you know shortly with the different speed.

make sure 08>368 is set to 1 in the B site and 0 in the A site. If you make a change you need to initialize the card (make busy the toggle switch)

I got this working so that I receive both data streams through port 0 on the AP00 card. The only problem now is that the Authorization code (A086) does not get sent to the AP00 SMDR output from system B. I does arrive from system A. Any ideas on how to handle that?

look at command DD00>170 this should be a 0 for both sites

Also look at D000>72 this should be a 1 (for the B site)

I tried D000>72 and this is now set at 1 but still did not get this through. DDOO>170 wont work as it is not set up for this.

Were account codes to SMDR working on system B prior to CCIS?
