SMDR PORT

Goto the Admin. phn or with SPM, got to Maitnence -> PORT
-> PORT -> RS232 Port 1 -> Reset -> Yes.
THis will reset the SMDR port. The connection settings are as important as the Reset. Make sure that your termonal Emulation program is set 1200-8-none-2-none. Hope this helps. If this doesn't work then the port is bad and the processor would need to be replaced for it to start working again.
