I have a small realastate company that has an Elite 192 and an FMS. They have some mailboxes setup with descriptions of homes in them. So people can call in, dial the extension that they see on the For Sale sign and hear all about the property. If they deciede to leave their name and info they can have a agent call them back. But, if they just listen and hang up they don't know who called.

They would like to track who is calling and what mailbox they listened to. I know SMDR will give me the caller ID and the date/time. But will SMDR give me the digits that were dialed after the voicemail picked up? Does anybody know of anyway to get that information short of pulling out the replogs every day?

Upgrade to an IPS with R11 software and use the new station to station SMDR. Expensive but the only other way I can think of would be using an ACD package with multiple pilots (mailbox numbers)and then running a report on the pilots.
Sorry. Best I can do.

Thank you for the info, I will run it by them but they probably don't want to spend that much $$$.

Just my two cents,

SMDR probably give you what your looking for, even if you upgrade to an IPS. The SMDR records will be aginst the Voice Mail ports not Mailboxes. Caller ID will give you who called (if Caller ID is turned from the Telco and the Elite or IPS is is setup to handle it) but not what they dialed.

You might want to check to see if your current Voice Mail can give Mailbox usage reports this will tell you how many times each mailbox has been hit. The AD-40 and AD-64 can give you these reports, but the upgrade cost may prohibitive
