Hi,

I am usian a NetWorker Server 5.5.3 on Nt SP5 to backup my clients.
Recently I get an error message "Backup: cannot make TSA connection to default NetWare server (SMDR-5.0-21) The maximum number of connections allowed through the SMDR (64) has been exceeded." from my NetWare 4.15 Client on NetWare 5.1 SP2, without changing anything.
Does anybody has the same problem and/or maybe an workaround?

Try unloading TSANDS and TSA500. Then unload SMDR. After everything is unloaded. type SMDR NEW at the console prompt. Novell will then ask you to verify the context and enter an admin login\password. Then reload TSANDS and TSA500. This fixed the problem for me.

Good luck.

Thanx for the answer, but I have updated the NetWare Client to 4.2 with the TSA5UP7 Patch from Novell an it works again.
