I know that the asterisk (*) indicates that the call was remotely disconnected, the exclamation point (!) indicates the call was picked up at another location (e.g. - general pickup of a parked call), but cannot determine that the 'I' symbol designates.

Does anyone know? I'm pasting an excerpt from the portion of the SMDR report in question. Note the 'I' that comes after the first two incoming dialed digits.

gregarican,

I Was bored so I started Reading through the manual. It Says "I indicates an Incoming voice or data call with ANI or Caller ID information on a PRI, BRI or other facility equipped to Recieve the callers number" I know that is not saying much though. Looking at what you gave us to look at it seems the i shows up in the trumks up towards the 860s. Do you have a PRI? Mabye it is a blocked number? Does it happen from specific incoming callers? What if they call your cellphone waht caller ID do you get?

Did you figure it out? I would be interested to find out.

I still don't know why the 'I' showed up in this column. Since I haven't seen other instances of it maybe it was a serial communication belch? Since it's so isolated (and since upgrading the firmware on our INA board fixed our calling issues) I'm closing the book on this one. Just a minor question anyway. Thanks for checking though!
