SMDR 6 & CICS 1

I have never installed a SMDR 6. How does it interface with the CICS? I have a customer (Bed & Breakfast) that has the KSU in 1 building and Reception desk in another building, only a few cable pairs in place . Also looking at TapIt call accounting software. Any input?

SMDR 6 connects to a spare station port, so if you have 1 pair to the other building and wish to put the module away from the CICS, go ahead. Tapit EX will integrate nicely with the Norstar.

You don't even need a spare pair.
SMDR has dual ports, so you can plug a set into the SMDR and not waste a port.
