SMC agent installation

Hi,

Has anybody installed the SMC agent onto Solaris 2.7 and experienced performance problems soon after? I've installed it on Solaris 2.6 and 8 and everything works fine. The software kicks off an instance of "cfgadm" which causes the server to perform like a one legged asthmatic running a marathon in a chicken suit:-(

Is this an issue with Solaris 2.7?
Can I patch it to stop this happening?

Help!
