Good morning!

Recently I upgraded to Leopard and have run into a problem that has me baffled.

If I connect to a share on my SAMBA server, or my WIndows 2003 server, the share displays fine. However, if I browse to the desktop, and then click on the connection again, a list of the shares on the server is displayed.

For example, connecting to aa-bb-cc\sharename will initially display the share. But if I click on Desktop in Finder, and then back to the connection, a list of the shares is displayed on the server.

I'm guessing there is a setting somewhere that I have missed.

TIA,

Jay

I found the solution and my newness with my Mac is showing. I ended up having to go to Finder->Preferences->Sidebar->Devices and checking Computer. The shares I have mounted are listed under Computer in Devices as opposed to Shared.
