SmartStart CD for Proliant 6400R

I recently purchased (2) Proliant 6500R w/ duel 550 PIII xenon processors and (2) Disk Arrays. Unfortunatly, they did not come with th SmartStart CD. I'm unable to boot as the scsi drives are not recongnized and downloaded system utilities give me an "access denied error". I've read some threads that suggest setup can be done without the SmartStart CD but is it worth the time and effort?!
Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Any SmartStart CD donations would be appreciated even more. ;^)

The G3 series of Compaqs will start to move away from the smart start. I had a similar issue with them and had to call Compaq. I had to make a boot disk to get into the BIOS and setup the RAID that way.
