I'm reviewing types of smart devices suitable for corporate use. I'd appreciate comments on classes of devices, such as Blackberry vs Windows Mobile vs WebOS vs Android vs iPhone...

I see there were security issues with WebOs a while back - is it pretty secure now?

Thanks
Jay

Blackberry has a higher overhead cost, but is known for their security.

we use blackberries with BES. It is not difficult to install or to manage. Once in a while a blackberry will lose it's ability to connect but that is remedied by reauthorizing it on the BES. The ease of integration, access to local our networks and the overall control over how the phone can be used were significant selling points.

If you are not going to deploy a BES, then i recommend Windows Mobile or Droid. I have had had a lot of suceess with those. They are easy to manage, i think, and users can typiclly get "what they want" for a phone. I guess it boils down to how they will be used.
