SmartNavigation and DropDownList

Summary of the problem:
If I set page directive to SmartNavigation="true" and try to close web form while focus is set on the dropdownlist I get memory crash.
Anyone knows why or how to fix it?

I never had that speciic problem, but smart navigation is querky and does cause weird problems.
