I'm hoping someone can shine some insight on more a inconvenience that a problem that I am having with my Smartlists. Sometimes when I open up smartlists there are duplicate records that shouldn't be there or missing records that should be there. Then when you check back in anywhere from 2 minutes to half a day, the duplicate records are gone, or the records that should be there, finally appear. This only happens sometimes and there seems to be no consistancy to this happening. Anyone have any ideas or know why this might be occuring? I was thinking maybe it was because there are multiple users on the network that could be using Smartlist at the same time. It becomes kind of a pain because sometimes the data isn't as reliable as it should be due to records being there that shouldn't and records that should be there, not appearing. If anyone has any theories, fill me in on them please. Thanks.

No ideas or theories, Brad, but I can confirm that I have noticed the same thing happening here with reports on SOP transactions. We upgraded to ver 8.0 Oct 2004 and I have only noticed this problem since then.
Also, we have to wait much longer now for lists to finish "Exploring" when a report is first opened, before we can start a new search.
 
I saw this a while back too but could not recreate and attributed it to not enough Diet Dew that day - and although I did not like this SIMILAR answer - did you folks see this hecknowledge from GP? This was for another problem we encoutered where the fields were duplicated in the smart list. I was thinking about ripping into the keys in those temp tables for Smartlist to see if I could make them non-dupe, but extra time for things like that is a luxury I do not have right now.
