Smartlist buttons look different between users

On my XP machine (running high colour 32bit), any user, the Smartlist buttons appear differently (nice graphical ones), but on our citrix servers (Win 2000 servers running true colour (24bit)), the buttons look the old way.

Why? Each server meets the required display settings.

I don't have a view button on the top of Smartlist. I'm on version 8. I'm using the same User ID on each machine, so I assume my settings would be the same?

Turns out it was the service pack where my xp machine had GP SP#3 and the servers didn't (which upgraded Smartlist to SP#3).
