Hi
Im having some strange problems with an exchange 2003 server, i have tried to set it up to use smart host by adding the adress to my relay server in the advanced section of the smtp protocol properties page. I have restarted the services, tried to use both dns name and ipadress in the smarthost field but it still sends the mails directly to the recipients server.
Anyone have any idea of what Ive might have missed?

Thanks
Johan

you need to put the smarthost address in the smarthost field, not add them to the relay. Adding them to the relay allows the smarthost server to run emails outbound through you which is the wrong way round.
