Smartdefense not updating/hangs

We have a problem with smartdefense, on a Nokia, running R62, when you update smartdefense, it downloads the files appears to update, but when you try and save (or exit and select save), it hangs, it has been left overnight just to see if it was a long time to save but no joy, you have to chrash out of dashboard and then when you go back in smartdefense has not updated,

Anyone experiences this or have any suggestions
