I recently purchase a WIC-2T card for my 2611 router which is going to be the frame-relay switch for my lab which consist of 2 other routers. I also purchase a Smart Serial WIC2/T DTE 26 Pin Male To LFH60 Male Wic 1/T DCE 5 Ft cable. I'm assuming this is the only cable that will fit this type of connector(mini) that the WIC-2T uses. I want the frame switch router to provide the clocking to the other routers but i think i might have a problem. The cable end that goes to the frame switch is lable DTE. Does it matter what end of the cable is use for DCE or DTE? Thanks who helps.
