I have an Exchange 2003 server (no front end) and one smart phone, and all I want is to be able to have than smart phone to connect to the server, send and receive emails, sync calendar and contacts.

I spent two days trying different step by steps that I found online and none worked…

If someone out there can send me to a link to … another… step by step for dummies (apparently that’s what I need) , it would be great. If you need any more info, just drop me a line.

Thanks

What type of smart phone? Windows Mobile, Palm, Blackberry, IPHONE?

Here are two links that should help.

On the Petri article, DO NOT do the part that talks about a Back-End server. This will cause some unnecassary headaches. I have used this article multiple times leaving that step out and all works fine.

You will be good following the two links I provided. You will also need to buy a SSL cert from Verisign or Godaddy, etc. Or you can do the self-assigned but that is more administrative overhead as you have to install the cert on your mobile device.
