Hi

I am trying to upgrade a G3 series HP ML350 to a G6. Running Opensever 5.0.7.
The new G6 range has a P410i Smart Array COntroller which is not certfied by SCO.

The FAQ on SCO says that you can istall other 3GB SAS comtrollers such as the P400 or P800
and they work - with a bit of effort. HAs anybody done this and what recomendations do you have.
Thanks i advance Richard

We gave up on bare metal for 5.0.7 with the G5. Mostly switched to linux but did have some sco installs as vm's. 5.0.7 works just fine as vm as long as you don't use the vmotion options in a larger vmware installation.
