Small office

Can someone quickly advise the current software version for the Small office 4T + 4A + 8DS with 3x VoIP channels.

It is currently on 2.0

AVAYA site has Version 3 on the website (manager software) does this contacin the necessary Bin files??

Yes, if you download the admin CD you have all necessary software to upgrade and maintain the system.

If you have no problems or need for new funtionality I wouldn't upgrade. Don't try to fix if it's not broken...

Is the software version the same as the IPoffice.. hence 2.1(27) should work? or is the small office a different type of software?

It's the same. But if you're going to use 2.1 (not a bad idea at all) go for 2.1.31 instead of 2.1.27, it's the latest 2.1 version.

Thanks for that.. we had done so many 1p403's nevber really touched the small office and assumed they were different software ! silly!

Technicaly the Soe is a different Bin file to the IP403, which is diferent to the IP406 etc. but they are all on the disk
