Small Office Edition Password 1

Hi there.

I have a problem withe the password on the small edition.
Firmware version is 3.1(29). I`m trying to get the password to this device. Default one not working, I don`t want to erase whole configuration.

I was trying to get this thing by the tftp by I get a message:
Server Error: File Not Found.

I found a thread about it:

In this Thread user retsila was saing that he/she have a software to get the password from the any IPO? Did anybody seen this is this is realy true?

Do somebody have this software?

All I included in post is not working.

Only way which left to do is to default the small office and I don`t want to do it.

You should run all via DTE

The right comnmand is here (CAPITALS letter):

AT-SECURITYRESETALL

ipo answers by asking to type its own MAC:

enter "00e00701bd4e" to continue

you will have to type it + enter

ipo answers:

OK

Now all password are at default

I havent try this with the at-resetsecurityall but is this work with the firware below 3.2?

As far as I read this can be done with the software 3.2 or grater is it not?

Only works with 3.2 and higher so no go for you

Use snadboys on a config if you have one

This is a problem I don`t have a config file at all.

Can I update small office edition firware 3.1(29) to higher one?

Then I can use the DTE to reset the password, but someone told me this will not work, I mean the update.

Oke

Install deltaserver
Connect it to the ipoffice ( no need to login to the ipo)
Set up email notification

Then make an alarm so it will send you the config

If you do not understand then let us know

Thanks this is great idea but i have a problem with this to.
This small office is not connected to the network, and I think there is no gateway set up on the system so email notification will not work due to lack of internet:/

I`m affraid the only way now is to reset the system to default and build up it from the scratch

Well delta server method works for me
This was a bit tricky because i had to make a mail server on my laptop but I have config file, and then snadboy revelation and password cracked.

I have a small utility - IPOpass.exe that will display the system password for an ip office if you have a network connection.

last time i mentioned it Tek-tips killed my account :-(
