I've been digging through a handfull of pdf and ppt files, looking for one clear concise summary of digital trunk options for the different IP Office units, including the Small Office.

Anyone have something that will clariy all that in one document or spreadsheet?

You should really check out the product descriptions on the doc cd, it can be down loaded from avaya.com if you have a specific requirement maybe we could post the answer…

silly me, I forgot about the CD contents.

So... it appears that the SOE will take an IP400 T1 card in a slot, and that card has CSU/DSU funtion built into it?
"T1 trunk cards incorporate an integral CSU/DSU, eliminating the need for an external unit"

1. We have the option to bring in a T1, and have all channels used for voice trunks?

2. What is involved in giving the client this scenario: the client wants to use only part of the T1 for the SOE voice traffic, and the rest for Internet, say perhaps with existing LAN switches already in use?

Unfortunately its not a feature used here in the UK, T1 (E1 in the EU) is dedicated Voice or Data not both..
