Hello:

I found a 9 inch mono SVGA monitor with a small keyboard that was used on a computer register system. The keyboard works fine on my AST BRAVO LC 5133 all I have loaded on this sytem is DOS 6.22 for some legacy programs that I use in development. I would like to use the monitor since it occupies less space in my small cubicle. But when I hook up the 15 pin male connector to my monitor port I do not get any valid display. Is there any way to run this monitor on my computer? I thought there was a dos command but I'm not sure? Any ideas are welcome.

Thanks.

There used to be an option in the BIOS setups for a mono or color monitor. Check there first.

Also might be - this monitor may just work with a fixed signal input - one that will accept only one resolution and at only one frequency; and if so, the video card of the register computer only outputs that resolution and frequency.
