Hi all,

I posted a similar thread the other day and vragabond kindly helped me through most of the problems I was having.

However I still have a small gap at the top of the blue bars on this page in IE only.
Can anybody help me getting rid of this gap?

This is just an idea I'm playing with, not wanting to use sliced images like the other versions of the idea I've seen.

Thanks,
Richard

With IE, it is always something really scientific. It is whitespace around the picture. More info? Well, white-space is rendered as text, thus your picture is 600px high and some odd text space next to it. When you go up 600px again, that little text space makes your bars appear a little lower. This (scientific) method helps:
Code:
<div class="maincontent"><img src="[URL unfurl="true"]http://www.ictechnology.net/csstest/images/cannes_croisette.jpg"[/URL] width="800" /><div class="horopa"></div>

Vragabond, you are a real star.

Didn't notice that white space at all.

So simple, yet so frustrating!

Richard
