small business v's constant viral attack

i am four months in to my venture in my internet based business, and so far the the amount of e-mails i receive consist largely of intentional virus carriers, can anyone help me to stem this flow or tell me how to contact the offenders' isp? any assistance would be greatly appreciated, cheers

For one, take note of the virus and send a notification to the sender AND the ISP's abuse mail address (typically abuse@isp.com).

Also, having your AV check your mail for viruses before opening them helps.

BTW, what AV are you using?

You should note that with the current top viruses like Klez and Yaha, the FROM address is spoofed. It is not possible to easily identify the real sender. Your only recourse is to examine the routing info in the mail header. From this info you can usually identify the senders ISP but not always who the real sender is.
