I have SBS 2000 which I'm trying to use to pick up smtp mail through an ISDN router (3COM ISDN Lan Modem) but with great difficulty. Does anyone know if SBS can do this? I've had to use POP3 in the meantime.
Also, I'd like users to have themselves identified as if they are sending mail from another domain. This seems to work if I add another email address to their user account and set it as the new default address but they then can't receive any mail from their mailbox. I currently have all mail going into a corporate domain mailbox which is then re-written into the relevant branch office dial-up mailboxes depending on the username. It should look as if they are sending/receiving from the corporate account rather than their own.
Any ideas gratefully received.
