SLR75 Tape issue

You can try a cleaning cartridge on the tape drive. Some drives are more sensitive to some tapes upon insertion especially when the heads need cleaning. You can also try putting the tape in a different drive on a different server and manually tensioning it via command line if the other drive doesn't cough it right back out.
