Slowness Problem

Hi,
I have created a report using CR7. The report is displaying some of the summary figures based on different regions like total amount collected for a particular region and so on. I have done the grouping on the region.

When I run the report(from the report designer) it takes less than one minute to give the data. But after compiling the report, I tried to run the exe (On the same comouter), it take forever to give the data. I waited for half an hour and the data was still not out.

Can anyone tell me what could be the problem?

You've got a loop, obviously. I had one in another context, it was nothing I'd coded, but Crystal has its little ways which it persists in despite what we code for it to do. Change methods at random until the problem goes away, if no one can suggest anything better. Madawc Williams
