Hi all,
I have 2 HP750+ plotters connected to a solaris machine running samba 2.2.7.
15 NT machines are installed with HP driver 4.6 and spool very fast.
Spooling takes 20 seconds & immidiatly afterwards the plotter starts.
But, there is this 1 XP machine with the updated HP driver 4.62, talking to the same samba installation & plotting on the same plotters.
For some reason it takes more then 5 minutes when firing off a plot from the XP machine.
I don't really wanna start massaging parameters because the NT machines are working so fast.
Is there any specific parameter that could cause this behaviour on XP side or samba side ?
In 2 weeks our IT dep wil start rolling out XP on all those machines...If this problem still persists...I have long nights ahead..
Iga
