slow web browsing

Not quite sure where to post.

Some of my international visitors from USA and Asia are complaining about really slow access to my websites.

Here in Europe i have no problems at all. Everything works really fine. However american visitors tells me that its really slow to even get to the login page which is a simple form with 1 image or 2.

I've checked the speed throughput and it seems ok, about 1Mbit/s from the states, a little worse from asia, about 800Kbit/s.

Anyone have any ideas on where to start troubleshooting?

Pathping the websites from a slow endpoint, see which router(s) enroute are causing fragmentation.
