Hi,

I have 2 different routers (a contivity 1010) and a Fortigate 100, each have their own public IP and are connected to the same 3MB/3MB business grade Cable connection. (My Forigate is the primary Internet FW and the Contivity is for VPN and IP Phones-BCM200)

I'm performing speed tests and when using the Contivity as a gateway it is constantly getting around 700kb upload speed, whereas the Fortigate is always 2.5MB+

Anyone have any ideas on what I can adjust? I have not enabled TCP MSS or adjusted MTU, should I try that, will it make that much of a difference? If so where is the option to adjust MTU, I only see MSS.

thanks

MTU probably would not help, MSS might. Try changing it to 1200, 1300, then gradually higher.

MSS: System > LAN > Edit
MTU: System > LAN > Configure

peace
