Hi,

I have 3 PCs, all connected via Wireless LAN, with the following hardware, from D-Link....

2 DSL-520+ (2 PCs)
1 DSL-650 (1 Portable)
1 DWL-1000AP

Now the connection works fine, the only problem is when I try to transfer alot of data.

The connection is always 'Excellent', as I am testing them all in the same room.

If I start transfering alot of data, say 50Mb or so, it starts off ok, but after a 10 seconds or so, you can see it slowing down. Also at the same time, the signal strengh seems to get lower and lower, and sometimes it drops completely.

It can take up to 10-20 minutes sometimes just to copy a couple of mp3s..(ie 10mb)

As soon as the data have finished transfing , the signal strength goes back to 'Excellent'.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Rob Donovan
