Slow throughput with 6.61

My throughput has slowed from 350 to 50 MB/m over a couple of weeks. his has happened on 2 servers, both with DLT library's. If I do a backup of either server over the network to a machine with a single DLT I am getting >250 MB/m
I have re-submitted the jobs, check,repair,packed the database then initilised the database all to no avail.My daily backups are now taking 60 hours to complete.

Im running Win nt sp5 ARCserve 6.61
