Hi,
We are planning on implementing terminal services. Part of that plan will be to run an Access 2003 front end across it. The Access FE is linked to a SQL Server Database (installed on a different server 2003 box).
Prior to installing terminal services we started testing the Access FE on the Windows 2003 box with MS Office 2003 installed.
It is running much slower than when its running on Win XP by a factor of 10 or more!!!
I can't think of why this should be happening. We have tried turning the firewall off, uninstalling anti virus and turning as many of the server services off. But it has made no difference.
Any ideas why this might be happening?
Thanks in advance,
Will
