SLOW sending through Mercury SMTP!

We have Mercury Mail installed on a Win 2K server. Everything seems to run fairly snappy except sending a large message. Any message of any size takes FOREVER to go through. You can sit there and watch the SMTP server window receive about 100 lines every three or four seconds and a large message might be tens of thousands of lines!

I'm thinking surely there is some setting that I'm missing that would fix this.

Make sure the Win 2K SMTP service is not running. That might cause the delay or slow throughput on the Mercury SMTP engine.

You might post the SMTP section of your mercury.ini here.
