We are experiencing Outlook becoming totally unresponsive when searching Delegate mailboxes that have been added to the Outlook 2007 profile.
The size of these additional mailboxes is considerable wheighing in at around 2.5gb (21k items in inbox) but Outlook is locking up and appearing to the user as unresponsive for around 3-4 mins whilst the search is carried out.
Performing a search on the exact same term, even following a restart of the local machine, yields an instant answer.
Would this indicate that the searching problems is on the Exchange 2007 server side as opposed to the Outlook client. For those interested I have tried out Outlook 2007 SP2 to see if it would resolve the unresponsiveness but it does not I am afraid.
Has anyone had any experience with this?
