Slow Running Corel On G5 Powermac

Hi all, I just installed coreldraw 11 on my brand new dual 1.8 G5 Powermac, and have been very very dissapointed with how slowly it runs.

I used Corel 10 on the windows PC I had before, and could configure the amount of RAM that corel used; is there some feature in Corel 11 for mac like this? Bearing in mind I have looked at the preferences available...

Also, Photoshop runs well (as does all the other software on my mac) so is this just a problem with corel? Has anyone else had this problem?
