Hi, I've posted this problem before on thread631-1456402. I have since tried using the SQL Native Client drive and it hasn't helped. Posting is still extremely slow from all workstations but fast if you physically sit at the SQL 2005 server and post from there. Workstations are using 10/1000 NIC cards as well. Is anyone else having this problem or does anyone have any more ideas? Help is really appreciated!

Should the terminal server be using the SQL Server driver or the SQL 2005 Native Client driver in the ODBC ? If the workstations are using the SQL 2005 Native Client driver.

1. Everything should be using the Native Driver.
2. Until you're on version 5.5, it won't help much.

How do you mean until we're on version 5.5 it won't help much? What does 5.5 do for me ?

5.5 has some performance improvements thanks to better use of the native driver.

Use the SQL monitor to see if there are other processes happening when you connect to the SQL database.
