Slow passw: prompt upon logging in 1

Just switched SCO UNIX 5.0.5 to 5.0.6 and a known bug with telned is out to get me.

I found technical article on this bug and it suggests you install patch rs506a.

If I have 5.0.6j installed, isn't rs506a behind and it may potentially cause some damage?

Installing rs506a on top of 506j should be no problems
the a and j suffixes are unrelated between the OS release and the release supplemnets.
