I have a 2610 that has been working fine for years but has suddenly started giving me trouble. The Ethernet port is a trunk connection to a 2924 switch with a subinterface for the Internet link and a subinterface for the LAN link. I've had no problems since it was set up 2-3 years ago but now when users try a Internet file download (Windows updates, McAfee updates, etc) they seem to start fine but stop at some point. Also, when they launch IE or Firefox the home page loads fine but if they click on one of the portal links it sometimes fails to load and just stalls for many minuyes. Links from MSN seem most prone and haven't seen any problems from Yahoo links. There are no errors on any of the interfaces, rebooting the equipment didn't help. I have multiple VLANs on the switch and all of the internal ones exhibit the same trouble. I can assign one of the switch ports to the same VLAN as my Internet subinterface and give my laptop a public IP address in the same subnet and was able to download a 500 meg file successfully in just a coupke of minutes and had no trouble with the MSN links, so I think the hardware and the Internet connection are OK. It seems like the problem is with NAT but most web traffic flows fine amd there have been no configuration changes recently. My ISP is WIndstream, formerly Nuvox, but I don't think that has any bearing. Anyone seen anything like this?
