Slow Opening Access Objects 1

I have recently built an application and put it on the server (split between front end and back end), with all the access objects opening pretty quickly. I have taken a copy of this application and put it on my laptop (as there were some new requirements), and relinked the back end to the one now residing on my laptop. Everything worked pretty well still.

I created the new requirements on my laptop then exported to the app on the server. A couple of weeks later I took a copy of the app so I had the most recent data to work on.

Now when I open any of the objects in the app, it takes between 5 - 10 seconds to open - even a simple table with 20 records.

Does anyone know what causes this and how I can resolve it. I have tried compact and repair, refreshing the links, but so far no joy.

Have you tried Decompile followed by Compact and Repair?
