I am running Windows 2000 pro. I have Windows Office XP pro installed also. Whenever I open a program in Office it takes probably 1-2 minutes to open. I have seen others with a similar setup and it takes much less time to open an application. I have a Toshiba 2805-S603 laptop with a Pentium 1m processor and 256M of ram. I have a 30 G hard-drive that is approx 40% full. I regularly run (from a previous thread thank you very much!!) Spybot and Ad-aware to remove junk accumulated from the Internet. Any suggestions???
