Hi,
When users playback their voice-mail greeting, it is very drawn out and slow. This only happens when users from remote sites record greetings and voice-mail on to the NuPoint/VM server.
I ran packet analyzer against the traffic. It appears that the RTP network traffic from the IP phone to the NuPoint/VM server is duplicated.
The RTP stream from the IP phone to the NuPoint/VM server sends duplicate packets for each sequence of data.
The problem is not experienced when a greeting is recorded from an IP phone to the NuPoint/VM server on the same IP subnet. I do not witness any duplicate packets either.
The remote sites are connected via Gigabit Ethernet. The bandwidth is not saturated at all. QoS (DSCP value 46) seems to be configured properly.
Has anyone ever seen this issue ?
Thanks for your help.
